No parts of the story were watered down or sugar coated and I really liked that. If I were the author of this book I would have yanked the movie rights out of the directors hands and sued over crimes to humanity. Eldest is the second novel in the four-book fantasy series the Inheritance Cycle by Christopher Paolini, which focuses on a boy named Eragon and his dragon, Saphira.Eldest follows after Eragon, which was made into a film in 2006. The part that really made me mad about the movies was when Brom said something about Eragon being 15 and Eragon gets all offended and says he's 17. As of June 2012, there are no reported plans to make a film adaptation of Eldest. I love this book so much and I've read it at least 10 times and I was so excited for the movie and I almost cried because it was so awful. ![]()
